On March 13, 2025, Asia Legal held an internal training event titled “Essential Insight for Vietnamese Investors Doing Business in France.” During the event, our French interns have provided their in-depth insights into the legal framework for foreign investments in France including tax policies, selection of business types, mandatory administrative procedures, and legal challenges for foreign investors doing business in France.
This event is part of Asia Legal’s annual internship program, which welcomes foreign interns to study Vietnamese law and share their knowledge and experience in international law with Asia Legal’s staff.
Vietnamese investment in France has been growing steadily, with bilateral trade and investment cooperation between the two countries has focused on specialized, high-tech, and mutually complementary fields.
Moreover, in the context of increasingly stringent EU regulations on immigration, Vietnamese investors must make substantial investments, create jobs, and contribute to the national budget in order to be granted citizenship of an EU country.
