On September 11, 2019, the Belt and Road Summit 2019 was officially opened at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center.
The Belt and Road Summit 2019 has attracted nearly 5,000 representatives from agencies and business leaders from 55 countries and territories, where the latest Belt and Road initiatives and new opportunities in different fields were discussed. Over 500 projects were presented at the investment-business meetings and more than 700 unilateral meetings were arranged amongst project owners, investors and service providers within the framework of the Summit.
With the theme of “Creating and Realizing Opportunities,” the Belt and Road Summit 2019 in Hong Kong includes a high-level conference with plenary sessions, a series of ground-breaking forums with a wide range of topics that focuses on practical issues relating to specific industries and markets, including financial matters, investment, legal issues, infrastructure, technology, cadastral issues, risk management, and human resources.
In the morning of September 11th, 2019, within the framework of the Summit, Asia Legal met, discussed, and joined business matching with representatives of businesses and organisations from other countries. It is the chance for Asia Legal to introduce investment opportunities in Vietnam and answer legal questions to businesses interested in investing in and conducting commercial activities with Vietnam.
On the side-lines of the Summit, representatives of Asia Legal and the Vietnamese delegation had a friendly lunch with Mr. Tran Thanh Huan, Consulate General, Vietnam Trade Office in Hong Kong.
