On July 4th, 2026, Asia Legal Law Limited Company had the privilege of partnering with the Hanoi Bar Association to organize a professional training course for lawyers. The course featured Mr. Luu Xuan Vinh – Managing Partner of Asia Legal Company as the main speaker, along with the support of Mr. Nguyen Trong Hieu – Senior Associate Lawyer of Asia Legal, and Mr. Tran Dai Phong – Associate Lawyer of Asia Legal, as co-speakers.
The Law on Personal Data Protection, effective from the beginning of 2026, has established a legal framework that aligned with international standards, setting increasingly stringent compliance requirements for businesses. In addition, the Law on Cybersecurity of 2025, built upon the integration of the Law on Information Protection of 2015 and the Law on Cybersecurity of 2018, further affirms the close connection between protecting national sovereignty in cyberspace and protecting the privacy of each individual. In this context, the programme is designed to combine legal knowledge on personal data protection provided by Asia Legal and cybersecurity delivered by Mr. Nguyen Minh Duc – Cybersecurity Expert, Founder and CEO of CyRadar – thereby providing a comprehensive perspective on risk management and compliance in the digital environment.
The training course was held online and attracted more than 150 members of the Hanoi Bar Association. Under the theme: “Personal Data Protection and Cybersecurity: Knowledge, skills, and Application for Self-protection and practical approaches to compliance advisory for Businesses”, the course focused on updating new legal regulations on personal data protection, while also sharing practical experience, and compliance consulting skills for businesses in the context of increasing emphasis on data governance and cybersecurity.
Through this programme, Asia Legal hopes to equip fellow legal professionals with comprehensive legal knowledge, cybersecurity awareness, and practical experience in personal data protection. By fostering a deeper understanding of emerging regulatory requirements, the firm seeks to support lawyers in both safeguarding personal data and providing effective compliance advisory services to organizations.
