Asia Legal participated in an international commercial dispute resolution in Oman in November 2018, which Asia Legal’s lawyers acted on behalf of the Client to enter into various negotiation sessions with a state-owned corporation in the Sultanate of Oman.
Omani Landscape
The international dispute took our lawyers much time and efforts, from contract review, thorough research on all legal aspects of the dispute, and communication with the Client’s partner, to making plan to visit the Sultanate of Oman and enter into face-to-face discussion and negotiation with the Partner.
Within the framework of the business trip to the Sultanate of Oman, Mr. Luu Vinh, Managing Partner of Asia Legal met and established a cooperative relationship with two business law firms based in Muscat, Capital of the Sultanate of Oman. This is also an essential preparation in case the dispute between Asia Legal’s Client and their partner in the Sultanate of Oman cannot be resolved by means of negotiation.
Within a busy week in the Sultanate of Oman, with our tireless efforts as well as our experience in international trade disputes, Asia Legal helped Clients successfully resolve this dispute through negotiation.

This is also the case that has helped sharpen Asia Legal’s dispute resolution practice, one of the core practices of Asia Legal, and Asia Law Profiles – one of the leading articles specialised in rating and raking law firms in the Asia-Pacific region, has recognised and ranked Asia Legal as “Notable Law Firm” in the dispute resolution practice of 2019.
